Deleting a wallet from your device is a significant action and should be done with utmost care. Wallet deletion is irreversible, and a deleted wallet can only be restored if you have a backup. Always ensure you have backed up your wallet before proceeding.

Step-by-Step Guide to Deleting a Wallet

1. Launch Trust Wallet

Open the Trust Wallet app and navigate to the Settings section from the main screen.

2. Access Wallets

Within the settings menu, select Wallets to view a list of all the wallets currently available on your device.

3. Proceed with Caution - Deletion

  • Locate the wallet you wish to delete.
  • Tap the three-dot icon next to the wallet name.
  • Select the Trash Can Icon labeled "Delete Wallet."

Note: Ensure you have a backup of the wallet before deletion. Without a backup, the wallet and its funds cannot be recovered.

4. Confirming Deletion

  • After selecting "Delete," confirm your choice to proceed.
  • If you change your mind, you can tap Cancel to stop the process.

Important: Deletion is final once confirmed. Only proceed if you are absolutely certain.

5. Successful Deletion

Once the steps are completed, the wallet will be permanently removed from your device.

Note: A deleted wallet can only be restored if you have the correct backup information, such as your recovery phrase. Trust Wallet cannot retrieve deleted wallets.
